Guruparan International and SP Cinemas are set to release Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector, the Chinese film that made waves around the world and which is now all set to storm into Indian cinemas on June 26. Realizing the potential of the film, the distributors have decided to release the film not just in English but also in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

The film belongs to the massive Boonie Bears franchise created by Fantawild. It is China’s most successful animated film series of all time. Starting as a wildly popular animated TV show, it has evolved into an annual theatrical juggernaut. It has also captured the hearts of hundreds of millions globally through its television programs, merchandise and theme parks. Previous entries like Boonie Bears: Time Twist and Boonie Bears: Guardian Code each swept over $200 million globally, positioning the brand right alongside Hollywood giants like Disney and Universal.

Boonie Bears: The Hidden Protector continued the franchise’s tradition of phenomenal financial success. Globally, the film has grossed over $154 million (approx. Rs. 1,285+ crores), solidifying it as one of the top-grossing animated features globally this year.

The adventure features the iconic main characters—bear brothers Briar and Bramble, alongside their friend Vick—who accidentally receive magical abilities from an unexpected visitor and must thwart a crisis threatening both human and immortal worlds.
