People are more dependent on predictions because they are more anxious: Munisha Khatwani

Astrologer and celebrity Tarot card reader Munisha Khatwani feels people today are increasingly turning to tarot, astrology, and other forms of spiritual guidance. She mentioned that the uncertainty about life is making them so conscious and desperate to know what lied ahead.

She said, “People are more dependent on predictions because they are more anxious. People really want instant answers about their lives, especially when it comes to careers and relationships. Relationships, in particular, are a major source of anxiety. So, people have become more dependent on different forms of occult guidance, be it tarot, astrology, energy readings, or numerology. People are increasingly drawn to these forms of guidance.”

As for her readings, she confessed that she tries to be honest about what she sees and added, “I feel that people are going to have those experiences anyway.” Sometimes, I end up bursting their bubble, which I do not feel great about, but I believe I have to be 100% authentic to my work. If I am inauthentic to my profession, which has given me everything, I do not believe the universe will support me.”

She mentioned that no matter how difficult it is, she tried to tell the truth. However, she added, “Sometimes, I soften the blow by choosing my words carefully. If I feel a client is too sensitive to hear a direct no, I might say that the chances do not look very strong. I am generally straightforward, but I do tone things down when necessary while ensuring my point gets across.”

As for the debate between logic and intuition, she is quite clear about her stand. She said, “Intuition is something you feel strongly about, while logic often challenges it because it comes from your practical mind. Every time I have ignored my intuition, I have regretted it because things have eventually gone against me. Over time, I have learned to trust my gut.”

But with the rise of social media and people resorting to quick remedies that they see on their screens, she warns them to steer clear of fake readers. She said, “Apparently, everybody on social media is a tarot card reader. Many people teach themselves, but there are also people who are fake and those who run scams. So, yes, the profession is somewhat at stake. However, I believe people who know you can recognize your authenticity.”

“I do not need to keep selling myself to prove that I am authentic because the people who know me already know my work. If people know you and trust that you are genuine, they will continue to come to you,” Munisha ended.
