Aditya Khurana on Navratri celebrations: ‘Back in my teenage days, I used to celebrate Garba and Dandiya all night with friends’ Featured Funtainment by Akanksha - October 14, 20260 Actor Aditya Khurana, who is seen in Kyunki Rishton Ke Bhi Roop Badalte Hain, believes that festivals bring positivity and give people a chance to connect with their traditions and loved ones. As Navratri is being celebrated, the actor looks back at his teenage days when the festival meant dancing to Garba and Dandiya with friends all night.Talking about what Navratri means to him, Aditya says, “It always feels positive during festivals, and Navratri is one of them. There is something special about this time of the year. It gives you a chance to feel positive and celebrate with people around you.”The actor also has fond memories of celebrating Navratri during his teenage years. For him, the festival was all about dancing and spending time with friends. “Yes, festivals do bring back childhood memories. Back in my teenage days, Navratri was all about Garba and Dandiya, which I used to celebrate all night with all my friends. Those were lovely days, and I still remember how much fun we used to have,” he shares.Aditya feels that Navratri is a festival that should be celebrated outside the home as well, with people coming together to enjoy the festivities. He says, “Navratri is not a festival to be celebrated just at home. It is a great festival to go out, dance and celebrate. I think that is what makes it so special. You get to meet people, enjoy the music and be part of the festive atmosphere.”However, with a busy schedule in the entertainment industry, spending time with family during festivals is not always easy. The actor admits that he misses celebrating with his loved ones as much as he would like to. “Celebrating festivals with family has always been the most loved part of my life, but due to busy days, I don’t get enough time to celebrate with them. I do miss that, because festivals feel even more special when you are surrounded by your family,” he says. For Aditya, Navratri is also a time to let go of negativity and devote himself to Goddess Durga. Sharing the lesson he tries to carry into everyday life, he adds, “It clears all the negativity and bad energies you have within yourself. It is a very good time to devote yourself to Durga Maa and celebrate with your family. I feel festivals give us a chance to take a break from our regular routine, focus on the positive things in life and spend some quality time with the people who matter to us.” Share this: Share on Facebook (Opens in new window) Facebook Share on X (Opens in new window) X Share on Pinterest (Opens in new window) Pinterest Share on Telegram (Opens in new window) Telegram Share on WhatsApp (Opens in new window) WhatsApp Like this:Like Loading… Related
